Chris and I are moving in together at the end of the month. I'm very excited, but trying not to think about the inevitable hassle of the actual move. The apartment--actually the lower half of a subdivided house--has everything we wanted--2 bedrooms, washer & dryer, dishwasher...and a decent amount of space. We will also have the basement to ourselves, and a large deck that overlooks a back yard. I'm looking forward to all the gardening I'll be able to do this spring. And there's a Trader Joe's five minutes away!
I've been watching the reporting on the Blagojevich scandal for the last half hour, and how someone could be that stupid, I have no idea. Off with his head, I say.
The weather here is wretched at the moment--snowy and wet with everything freezing over, but I've got a cozy blanket, hot chocolate, and the latest issue of Bust magazine, so I'm content to ignore it. Chris just called from Dallas, where he went for work today, and he says it's snowing there. Snowing in Texas, of all places. Effect of global warming?
