when you realize that all you know is being pulled out from under you
when you realize that this is really it, the end of a chapter
when you realize just what your friends mean to you
when you look back on all your great memories
when you reflect on your mistakes, and all your regrets
when past, present, and future collide

you know those nights where you just have to run away?
and never stop, because then everything will catch up to you?
when you end up driving around aimlessly at 3 in the morning
when you drive 100 mph just to feel reckless
when you pull over just to get out and look at the stars
when you cry your eyes out curled up in the drivers seat

you know those nights where you just want to say everything?
but somehow, you can't find the words?
when you realize how people are fickle
when you realize that doesn't matter
when you realize that emotions aren't really so weak
when you realize that this is your last chance
when you want to believe in fate
when you finally realize what matters
