hunger pangs
the kid is setting his own food schedule. no matter what else we think may be wrong, or incidentally happening as he yells - like burping and farting - it seems to come back to when he's crying a lot, he's hungry. he had been eating every three hours, but was yelling at about 2 hrs 15 minutes. we figured he wouldnt be hungry yet because it hadnt been all that long since he ate. finally, we tried food in desperation and that's what quieted him. i am starting to wish he could do some sign language.. like raising his right hand meant gas, left meant hunger, right ear for diaper and left ear for, i dunno, too hot/cold.
