Ultra recap in photo form! I'm posting these to LJ too because Facebook totally screws up the photo quality, so I apologize if you've already seen these.
I saw: Santogold, The Ting Tings, Shiny Toy Guns, The Black Eyed Peas, The Presets, Late of the Pier, The Bloody Beetroots, Cut Copy, Boys Noize, Crystal Castles, a little bit of MSTRKRFT, and Simian Mobile Disco. I watched Tiesto, Benassi, and all those other huge dance artists playing on the main stage from the VIP Village because I was too scared to go into the gigantic crowd.
I'm pissed I missed out on: Bloc Party (Kele O. got sick! :( Noo), the rest of MSTRKRFT, and Deadmau5.
DAY ONE!
Why am I such a dork? Wtf I look terrible. Anyway, we met up with Sean at Bayside so he could give us the ~deetz~ on how to get in and where to go.
Then we ran into Richard Simmons at Bayside.

The Bloody Beetroots... AGAIN.
BOYS NOIZE. While waiting for him these security dudes came out with bottles of Smart Water and just started pouring them on me and other people in the crowd. It was for promotional purposes because this guy was taking photos for it but I was PIST because I had my camera out and I was wearing a silk dress. Luckily my camera didn't get wet but my dress was all clingy and didn't dry for like an hour, ugh. But whatever... at least the water (sort of) cleaned my legs and feet? Lmao I was sitting on the grass at several times in the day and there was dirt all over my legs and feet.. haha so gross.

I ran into Siobhan after this and it turns out she was right behind me during the entire set! I gave up my spot at the front to her and her friend when I left for Matt and Kim.
FYI I LOVE THIS KID! Not only because he is responsible for getting me into Ultra with VIP wristbands for free.. but also because our long-distance friendship is awesome and he is just one of the nicest and coolest people ever, seriously.
~brief interruption~
Esra, aka meltemerdogan, was a total sweetheart last night who picked me up so we could go see Matt and Kim together! She also brought me to Taco Bell because she is sweet like that. But I fail because I introduced her to miswed (Angel) as Mel, even though she doesn't go by that name anymore. FML. Plz don't hate me, Esra.
We got there late, though. :( When we parked her car, we heard them playing so we were running to the venue and singing along at the same time. Then we both had to pee and when we came back from the bathroom they were like "We're going to play 2 more songs..." WAT :(
She tried to woo the cat. But she failed miserably. Apparently animals hate us.

DAMN.
All in all, it was an amazing weekend. My body is still sore from dancing for 5 straight hours in front of the Bayfront stage and my ears are still ringing, but it was totally worth it.
