On Saturday, after I finished work, instead of going to the Citadel I usually do, I decided to call my friend Erick. He needed a little help moving out of his apartment at Colorado College. While moving stuff to his car, he talked about his Senior Dance and that I should go, I had dress pants but just a green shirt. Erick decides to lend me his red dress shirt he was taking home but I decided not to go, I mean, it's not like I'm graduating.
After the final load was packed in the car, we drive to his house and then went back to the apartment as he was getting ready. Somehow I got convinced to go so I wore one of Erick's blue button shirt and his "Lucky" cologne (That's the brand name). It was at a fancy hotel located downtown, The Antler's and it was only $10 to enter. I did dance and got to meet his friends (Man, Erick's pimp knowing all these girls). I just wasn't feeling it though so I sat down thinking about the time when I was Stupid, Stupid, Stupid but Erick bought me a "Long Island Ice Tea" and that drink was actually good for a strong drink.
I had no problem dancing after that. It almost felt like prom with everyone dressed up. There was two rooms, one with a live band and the other with a DJ. They were both good, I like the atmosphere of the Live Band and liked the music of the DJ. I danced at both and it was fun. I left around 1am and I had such difficulty finding my car but I eventually found it and went to CJ's house again to play a bit more Soul Calibur.
But I want to go to Colorado College, the people over there are easier to relate to. I never met so many people all at once. It is much easier to say "Hi" to another person over there.
