Let's say, you are a seer and from time to time, you have different visions of the future. The visions are not directly related to you but they always came true. You see a vision where 3 months from now, a man tries to rob a single mother with her two children. She put enough of a resistance that the man decides to shoot her and her two children to death.
A few days later, while camping through the woods, you hear calls for help coming beyond the cliff. You lean over and you see the same man who was in your vision. He's clinging to a plant on the side of the cliff. He's struggling to climb the cliffside to get to safety. If the plant were to break before the man reaches the edge of the cliff then the man will surely die.
A) Help the man up, knowing full well what will happen in the future. [justice]
B) Throw rocks at the man, to prevent your vision from happening. [humanitarian]
C) Ignore it all together and let fate decide. [logical]
From a [justice] side of view, you cannot punish a man who has not commited a crime.
From a [humanitarian] side of view, you would prevent the deaths of the mother and her two children.
From a [logical] side of view, you shouldn't interfere in such things. If you were caught killing this man right now, YOU would be the one in jail.
