Shrimp and Sirloin Entree - $18
Dessert (Chocolate Smore Fondue) - $28 divided amongst the 3 of us
Gratuity - $13
Trying a new restaurant and finding out it was expensive - Not priceless, it was frick'n $43!!!
I never paid so much at a restaurant where I cook my own food. It was different though since I never had fondue before. I didn't try the cheese fondue though.
The entree had some cutlets of sirloin and about 8 uncooked shrimp along with potatoes, mushrooms, broccoli, and squash. Take a fondue fork and stab one of the items you want to eat and leave it inside the fondue pot filled with Court Bouillon. 2 minutes later, whatever you dipped is ready to eat. As good as it was; it didn't fill me up, I was still hungry.
The dessert was a milk chocolate fondue with marshmallow cream. It came with a slice of cheesecake, graham cracker marshmallows, chocolate marshmallows, brownie pieces, sliced strawberries, bananas, and pineapple. It made me full, I couldn't finish it.
With the three of us, the bill came up to 90.22. 30 bucks doesn't sound so bad but I realized we have to tip. Usually if we were at a IHOP, it would be 2 bucks each but I paid most of the tip this time with $13 bucks.
Atmosphere: Great - The booths were high so you don't hear the next person's conversations with the right lighting.
Main Course: Good - Tasted great but probably just enough food to feed a model on a diet
Dessert: Excellent - I never order dessert when I eat out but this is the best I ever had.
Speed: Fair - It was the waiter's first day and he spent most of it talking to the girls in the next booth.
Pictures are small but hey, it's free hosting
