I mean Heather and Hessica and a few others. My trip to West Palm was okay, at best. My grandefather had two episodes when he passed out, but slept all day yesterday and was in much better spirits today. For those of you who don't know, my grandfather has cancer of the throat, tongue, and prostate. He has been through weeks and weeks of chemo and radiation and life for him is pretty crappy. My grandmother really doesn't know what to do with herself, and I think she was glad to have the company. She can't really leave the house for more than a half an hour or so, and when she's home, she needs to call the paramedics whenever my grandfather falls, because she cannot help him up herself. My mother and I had to pick him up once while we were there on Wednesday. We all want them to move to a condo somewhere in Palm Coast, but my grandfather refuses to agree to selling the house. The primary reason for our visit was to tear down wallpaper in one of the bathrooms and paint it. We were able to finish painting the ceiling, and to put a primer coat on the walls. We will finish the job on our next trip. My mom and I managed however to make fun for ourselves while down south. On Tuesday night, we went to the mall where I spent some of my Christmas money. I got two shirts at AE, two shirts at Old Navy, and a pair of pants and a hoody at Aeropostale. Last night, we went to a drive-in movie theater and saw the Chronicles of Narnia. It was really cool, because I had never been to a drive-in movie theater. Now we are home and I am so happy to be off the road (the trip is about three and a half hours). I will now probably take a nap, then have some dinner. My break has been good, but I can feel it coming to a close. One last hurrah for New Year's eve, then it's back to school. I am excited however, because on Thursday, I leave for Tampa for two days exused absence from school for the All-State concert.
