Well, luckily I got off work at 6:45 today. I was coughing like a madwoman and there wasn't really anything for me to do. I probably could have waited for the big printer to finish (and would have waited, then shrinkwrapped, then waited, then shrinkwrapped all night) but I think Jeff felt sorry for me and sent me home. I got home, and had something to eat, and then Selby and I headed out at about 8:00 to drop her resume off at Maxwell Taylor's. They were really nice, but said that they were mostly looking for morning workers, so we're not particularly hopeful. After that, we went to Starbucks and got chai lattes and then to Safeway to get some bananas because Selby wanted to make banana bread (it's in the oven right now).

I'm too tired/sick to make an effort to be witty tonight (hahaha like I ever am). I will just leave you with some random thoughts/observations of the day:

I saw a buddist monk on campus today. He was wearing a brown robe and those cool sandals.

I contributed to my ginormous EAS class discussion today. We were to offer some environmental issues in the media recently, and I said something that I heard on CBC radio this morning. It was about how some farmers near Toronto are using sewage sludge (from human waste) for fertilizer and people are worried about runoff into the water system and e.coli bacteria.

My feet hurt because I wore wooden-soled shoes when Selby and I went on our excursion. Ow ow ow!

I'm supposed to write down 'motifs' of the Cinderella story, but I have no fuckin' clue what motif is. Where is Quinn, my friend who is majoring in creating writing, when you need him?

It is lightnining something fierce out there. :)

Alright. Time for bed. I am one tired cookie.
