Got my monitor back... it's fucking huge! I forgot how big it was in comparison to the lap top :). And it works. Always a plus.
I spent like $200 yesterday on myself... and I practically never spend money on me.. so it was kinda fun. Went to Kohls. Had to buy some nice white shoes for my rad tech clinicals, so I got some good New Balances, friggen cost an arm and a leg, since I'll be on my feet.. and two really nice (girly!) shirts.. and at WalMart got some jeans and some other shirts, and a few other things I've been lacking. I honestly haven't been clothes shopping in ... a really long time, it was needed. Plus we picked up a few things for camping :).
Mom and Dad are getting me something cool for my birthday (I keep forgetting it's coming up)! I told em bunches of times they didn't have to do a thing but they wouldn't listen. I originally wanted a car rack for camping so I can store stuff on the roof, but apparently Honda Civics don't carry any, so we came up with buying a trailer hitch sorta thing, which sits mostly under my car, and the hitch pokes out the back. And we are attaching to that a ...box. Cart. It sits on the hitch, level with the bumper, and can hold stuff :) which will be perfect for camping! I'm so excited, we leave in under 2 weeks! Pennsylvania!
We also bought some replacement tent poles for the tent, and a tent kit with a hammer and extra spikes for really cheap from Coleman.com. :D
Lastly, got certified for CPR Monday. Easy class. Was only a 2.5 hour course, cuz we're not training to be EMT's, but it was a lot of practice on dummies. Better than people! Although I did have to pretend to give some guy the heimlich, and he had to practice on me, and I really don't like some stranger wrapping their arms around me from behind, with their hands ...right near.. my ribs. Little unnerving. Anyyyyyyyyyways.
