(no subject)
first post in what... 7 months lol.
read the last post and man i was lame.
didnt even know who i was talking bout. but oh well.
glad to be out of target. the picture people is fun. but hard as hell. sucks when im in a bad mood and just want to be cranky but i have to go into the room all super jolly and make silly noises to make kids smile. its pretty funny that i find myself being overly happy infront of the customers and then the second i turn my back my face goes stone cold and blank.
got some serious bruzes and rough spots on my knees.
brad and i came up with
"i make a living servicing customers on my knees all day"
last night.
lol.
sounds so wrong. but its true.
took pictures of the cutest little boy yesterday. i sat next to him and he would get so smiley and hug me. he was only a little over a year. and such a flirt already! hes going to be a ladies man when he gets older. for sure.
did make me feel good that when i went on a smoke break with the studio manager we chatted about how its going to be when we go digital. and about how big of a mess it was this weekend.
on saturday laurie was getting pissy at me because when i took over printing we were already behind and had a sitting due in 5 minutes while i was still printing the sitting before that one.
ended up printing up the perspective and the trilogy before i started the 8x10's and she came in freaking out at me. but she had other stresses from that day as well so that didnt help but when i was talking to rachelle (studio manager) she said thats how we are supose to do it so things can be framed and ready to go by the time the 8x10 and splits are done instead of rummaging through the sheets.
and she also said that i was a good photographer which made me feel good cuz portraits are HARD and i have a ton to still learn. lots and lots.
brandon and marie are getting married next september and im going to be the photographer at the wedding =)
im also going to do a wedding in march.
hopefully i will have a car and a new camera by then.
dad and i are going out to look at cars this week and kinda price them. i have 1300 in my account so the longer i wait the better car i can get =)
im excited tho.
oo went to rilo kiley on saturday. sooo sooo much fun. lame that it took 40 minutes from the 2nd band to them though. pissed everyone off. but the hour i was there for after they came on was amazing. wish i stayed for the whole thing tho.
guster is the weekend after this coming.
oh well. i was surfing myspace and saw a link to LJ so decided to come on here and see what people have been up to and saw that kirsta still uses it =) hehe.
i think its time for me to head off of this thing though. such a nice day so im having a beer and bout to head outside to drink it and soak up some sun since i didnt have time to go tanning today since when mom gets off work we are heading to nana's house.
i also think im going to 'revamp' my LJbecasue well blacks and greys with invader zim charachers as my icon just arent floatin my boat right now. im happier now then i was then.
