*Sigh...* The school started one week ago, and I've been dreading all the programming lessons. I know, why am I learning programming if I hate it? I don't have a simple answer... All week, I've been considering quitting, because I find the programming itself very difficult. However, I do love the system development lessons and the computer law lessons. I don't even have to take the exam in computer law, so I can just relax and listen to the teacher. And I don't even have to show up for the economy lesson, because I have a Batchelor's degree in business.
So, this semester should be very easy for me. With pure stubbornness, I've decided to continue my education, and use all that free time to focus on the programming. Starting today.
I've been trying to read all morning, and do some exercises. After reading about 10 pages of programming text (which is boring as hell), I suddenly found myself sitting comfortably in the sofa, reading project development text for next tuesday... I've read about half of it, and I'm going to read the rest tomorrow, in between coding.
I don't know why I don't like programming... The simple programming I like, and the little html I've learned is fun. I guess I just don't get java programming very easily. Sure, it looks all very simple in the examples, but as soon as I get an assignment where I'm supposed to do something on my own, I just freeze and stare at the paper, not knowing how to start. This has to change. Starting today.
