Some changes in life.

I was over at the house earlier, to give my sister my old computer, mine new one being almost finally set up. It's a very pretty, shiny compy, I saved up for it, Ori built it for me.
I don't much like alot of the things Microsoft's been doing lately, so I decided to install something else on it. That something else being Ubuntu, a version of linux for the normal person. So far it seems to work pretty well, I like it better than Windows XP anyway(I never did like that version much, prefered 98 a lot more, personal taste I guess.). It came with Firefox, the internet browser I used anyway, and an art program similar to the old one I used to use, my music collection still plays without problem, nothing's cluttered and everything's easy to find. So far I like it, it makes me happy.
Though I'll be fair and give it the two years I've given most other Operating Systems. If it's as clean, stable, and awesome as many people seem to say, two years is a good time period to test that. After my family having had, in the past 15ish years, an interesting mix Dos, Tandy, Mac, and Windows computers it's only fair to give this a try too. Maybe it'll work for me. (it probably will if I can get an AIM client for it.)
