Losing sight of our roots in the cathode rays

Life, life, life. So much must be done, so many things to experience. It's hard to understand how some people can go day to day without something that continually drives them and fuels some sort of growth. This summer has helped me to become further grounded in my aspirations, morals, and sense of self. I have stopped taking everything so seriously and learned that things happen for a reason (although the reason isn't always apparent at first).

I seem to find myself writing a lot lately. Mostly to Haley on the backs of flyers from the skatepark, but my thoughts are scribbled in a somewhat coherent form.

I went to Denton with Jena, Tanner, Chelsea, and this kid named Forrest on Wednesday. We saw The Undoing of David Wright at some little club. I've never seen them play, but the were amazing. Aaron, if you're reading this, you fucking rule! Sadly, there was no alcoholic induced fun that night(speaking of which, pay no attention to the previous post. I was drunk and really bummed), but there was fun nonetheless. People stripped (totally sober I might add), and everyone got crazy. Looks like Tanner and Jena are probably going to hook up and I'm stoked for them. I drove back at 6 in the morning, which was a ton of fun. Sentra power!

I can't believe I'm up before 1. Things to do!

Every day is a gift!
