Not tonight...
The coughing is better, but my chest aches and I'm really easily tired out. Much as I hate to desert my beloved DIE, there's no way I can go tonight. Having a half-hour conversation has just completely wiped me out; trying to get dressed up, get up there, and deal with people and smoke and loudness would be incredibly foolish. And considering I didn't really enjoy the last two weeks, maybe a brief break is a good idea.
Those who are going, buy lots of drinks and tip well.
Hopefully I'll be there next week.
(On the bright side, I finally handed off the frustrating project at 11 a.m., and took the rest of the day off, which I needed.)
