I had a very odd dream that started out as an extended costume event (think SCA) and then somehow turned into a *real* histrocal-setting witchfinder scenario, with me leading the fight against the witchfinder. There was a "break" in the action, the setting switched to modern day, and then everything started over again, "dialogue" and action just as it happened before, but in this modern-day setting. I've had dreams repeat themselves, but I've never had one switch settings.
I haven't been enjoying sleeping for about a week and a half now, and not just because of odd dreams. It's a struggle to stay asleep and sleep well--not insomnia, precisely, but my body not committing to the sleep state for some reason. Sleep has always been one of my great pleasures, and it's quite upsetting to have it turned into something frustrating.
I took my extensions out last night. With the exception of the one that pulled out after two weeks, they lasted for a full eight weeks, nearly two full months, which is pretty impressive. And I had to do a fair amount of work to break down the glue--they'd probably have lasted longer if I hadn't decided to remove them. So I no longer have silvery-purple streaks...but I *can* heat-curl my hair again.
Jageeda only tries to get up on the balcony railings when he knows I'm watching him. When he doesn't know I'm watching, he just sits and looks at things. I'm not sure how to interpret this.
No money for amusement this weekend, so I have to amuse myself here at home. Could be a good chance for getting household things taken care of, if I can keep myself motivated to do them. Really need to finish prepping all the sale stuff...that's more important than anything else.
I am ready for summer to end. I do not feel attractive in summer clothes. I want my velvet.
