Afternoon tea

Apr 17, 2011 20:38

Had a lovely time doing overwrought-dress-up tea at the Georgian this afternoon. I specifically wanted to wear something more or less 18th-century-ish in this setting, and doing that with other people who are dressed to the nines is way more fun. ( A few photos )

You look amazing! I'm glad things went well.

As for the dressing up again for the going away party: I had already figured I'd be in my tux and black silk bow tie. ;)

I'm thinking about something other than that.

Remember that picnic idea I was thinking about? And how we don't want to host anything at the house that last Sunday? Do the math...

Math is hard. Can't we just blow something up?

...ok, so another time aside from the party. Ok, I'll still wear the tux at the party, and maybe something with the Kambriel frock coat for the picnic.

Sometimes I think that you are Fiona, not Michael. :P

I can easily be one or the other at times.

And Craig Ferguson...And Blinky...And Mr. Charles...And Mr. Stark...

You'll never be one to be bored with a husband having a lack of personality, hmm? ;)

Just don't be Sam.

(Also, re: Craig Ferguson...does that mean I'm Kristen Bell?)

No, I will never be Sam.

But yes, you would be Kristen Bell, because we work so well together and are ridiculous.

I hadn't seen this, and was laughing while waking up this morning:
