Quick fashion/costuming craft question
How do people feel about fascinators/small hats on headbands?
I am struggling with the best way to attach my hat-thingie for my VMB outfit to my head. I thought I'd decided on a headband (and a fairly large and visible, though decorative in itself, headband at that), but I've started second-guessing myself on it. The headband is the most secure and in some ways easiest, but it might not be the best choice aesthetically.
And no, I cannot show you the items in question, because that would spoil the element of wonder I'm going for in the complete outfit. I mostly just want to get an idea of whether a headband would be hideously tacky and amateurish and I should focus on combs or ties instead.
Nothing like being in this position one day before I have to leave for the event. But then, that's hardly new for me.
