The past several days have been largely devoted to beating back the entropy that has been taking over our home. I've been bad about a lot of organizational things, particularly with regards to my wardrobe. I've been letting laundry sit for too long, both that which needs to be done and that which is clean.
This is a photo taken of my closet one week ago.
That pile serving as a princess-and-the-pea bed for the cats is clean clothing that I had not managed to properly hang up for a far, far, far too long.
I couldn't get a really good contextual shot, as the space is very narrow, but for reference, that little silver case in the lower left hand corner is at floor level. Use that to gauge just how high the clothing pile rises.
Yes, this is pathetic--both in the sense of how much clean laundry got built up without me puting it away, and in the sense of how much clothing I actually own.
All of that is now hung up; after several days of valiant effort, I finally finished late Sunday evening. There is pretty much no space left at all in the closet now.
When I say my wardrobe is the size of Luxembourg? I'm really not exaggerating very much.
And now that this is done, I can turn to the hats. The hat collection is only about the size of Monaco. :\
