For those not aware, the Olympic Peninsula, where we went yesterday, is where Forks is located. Yes, that Forks. In a massive amount of geekitude, I had a toon on WoW named 'McManus'. I got reported because a couple thought that it was 'McAnus'.

Mr. Darcy and I saw one of those tours when we went to Rialto Beach last March. We got out of the fish and chips place just in time.

Bless you both for being the types of people who take pictures of this kind of stuff. It's nice to know there are others in the world who u-turn for sillies.

I enjoyed your pictures! I'm coming to Seattle later this month, and eveofdstruction and I are going over to the Olympic Peninsula. I've never been there, but I was quite taken with the view from afar when I was at C6, and from everything I've heard and seen, the place is breathtaking.

Some of these Twilight-related pix are breathtaking too, but for a different reason.

And we *are* planning to visit Forks. It's a good Traveling Cthulhu photo op (see icon), and while Twilight and Stephenie Meyer make me cringe, I do teach junior high, and many of my students will get a bang out of seeing Cthulhu in Forks. :P

The Peninsula is absolutely gorgeous. It's very much worth a trip.

We weren't planning on the Twilight stuff. It just sort of happened. ;) But in your case, it makes perfect sense to go to Forks.

That last photo...lol! The fact that you guys turned around just to take that photo is only one of the reasons I love you so much. :D

Also, I showed it to M and he had a, um, 'food malfunction' (but he's ok) because he was laughing so hard at it. ;)

I'd be disappointed in both of them if they HADN'T turned around to take a picture.
