Today's good share

I am suddenly having an irrational and intense craving for some fresh, warm crusty-chewy bread (like what I used to get in Turkey) with sweet butter. Nothing else, just bread and butter.

I have no idea why this craving suddenly appeared, but that sounds like the best thing in the entire world right now. Except that it's the end of the day and

I had that yesterday and the day before, but it was a toasted plain bagel with cream cheese and a salt and peppered tomato slice on top. I haven't had that in years. I *almost* left the house yesterday morning in my pj to get it, but I made myself wait until I got dressed. ;) I found mini-bagels, tofutti, and tomatoes. Worked pretty good, and yes, my mouth said it was the most perfect food in the world. Today too. :D

Mmmm...bread. I have a small loaf of 'u-bake' baguette in my freezer for such occasions where I *need* fresh bread. My sister suggested getting a bread maker, but I know that would end in tragedy (tragedy = carbs everywhere in the form of wonderful fresh warm bread). *heh*

I think I need another bagel before bed. Comfort food indeed!

Bread and butter is one of my very most favorite foods in the whole wide world, forever Amen.

Too bad I can't have it anymore. Damned Low-carb diet. Hmph.
