the day before...
last night i took mes out for v-day...she'd never had someone do that for her & i was more than happy to oblige. she went on a minor shopping excursion w/me & then we had dinner & dessert, drove around a bit, & then had coffee & tea. i felt a little underdressed...of all the times we hung out she's never worn a skirt, but she was dressed to the nines last night...& there i was in jeans, birks, a t-shirt, & a jersey zip-up...we still had a good time, tho. she kinda shocked me...we were conversing as usual when somehow we got on the subject of kids & she said that she'd told her roommates that if i ever approached her to carry a child that she would...
speechless...
i guess i never really considered mes as the unmaternal type...or the maternal type for that matter...i'd never really thought of it. the way she put it, last night, it seemed that she would just have our hypothetical child & then visit every now & again. interesting...very interesting.
today's been very productive...i had my interview today & i think it went very well. talked to m, today...miss her...she wanted to go to breakfast, but i was drivin' mrs. stepford...
completed my work before my chat...went to yoga...talked to m once more & we spoke of the goings-on tomorrow...
for once, i'm very excited about valentine's...
