It is a wondrous thing, how three dots seem so little, yet mean so much.
The Greeks were the first recorded people to use such a rhetorical device. Aposiopesis is when the speaker (or writer) intentionally stops to leave something unexpressed. This indicates an unwillingness (or inability) to continue.
A brief digression is in order.
An interesting-yet-blatantly obvious thought:
When you're going down, there are only three things that can happen:
You stay where you are.
You sink deeper.
Or you rise up.
More often than not, only you can do it for yourself.
An amusing conversation:
"Would you escort me now to what lies ahead?" - Sensui
"I'll go anywhere you want!" - Kuwabara
... I seem to be having bad days more often.
