I don't speak much there because the captcha is driving me nuts. Half of the words I cannot read so I gave up. I only comment when I need to say something.
I think the weirdest part for me is knowing I might be super friendly with someone in some thread, and the next comment the same person leaves me might be totally hostile and there's no way of knowing. Also usually the point of discussion is to socialize, as in what is said affects and form relationships, but anonymity prevents that so it's not as much socializing as it is declaring/preaching ones opinions.
I do enjoy reading the comm though, just rarely participate!
I agree. To me, it just...ever since the first time, all the hate and drama that has gone around there...it just...it's too much, you know. I don't want to. I know there's probably a lot of really fun stuff going on over there that I'm missing out on, but...I can't bring myself to care.
I've been skimming through there, but I've only commented a few times and for challenges because I really hate being anon. Don't mind when other people are, but I don't like it.
yeah, I like for my comments to have a context and not just a comment. I feel like when you interact with me, there is my whole internet history which is a silent partner in the conversation but when you're anon there's JUST that comment... it lacks depth
Oh I don't so much have a problem with other people being anon (because you can't control other people and there's no point in trying) I just don't like it for myself

As for anon thing, i don't like being one and it is pretty hard for me to have a conversation with one, since i like to know who i am talking to.
