i like number 5 best, and i think the worst one is number 2. i like number 5 because the icon is clean, and the color is so pretty and vibrant. while in number 2, although i love the crop choice, i must say that i don't really like the random color (red, yellow, green) above the icon. it kinds of distract my attention on the characters in the icon.

Firstly, gorgeous icons all around! I'm having a hard time picking a least favorite, to be honest. Each icon is lovely in their own way.

For the best icon, I think I'm gonna go with #02. That was the icon that really stood out for me. I love the cropping and image choice. Also, the icon has this rainbow coloring that isn't at all easy to achieve, but which you've incorporated flawlessly into this icon. It's very unique and like a breath of fresh air, if you compare it to other overused types of coloring today. Bravo!

Another favorite is #05. The cropping isn't conventional and is slightly peculiar, I guess, but the more I look at it, the more I love it. :) Sharpening and coloring is A++. The contrast between her hair and the sky is just gorgeous.

As for my least favorite, I'm gonna go with #03. It's a very creative icon, but the image looks a little blurry and kinda takes away from the icon as a whole.

PS. I love that all five icons showcase different styles (cropping, texture and coloring wise). Really shows how creative and talented an icon maker you are!

I can see what you mean about #3 now, I didn't spot it before. I'm interested that #2 seems to be the love it or hate it icon XD

i like 5 the best. it's a purely emotional reason, 'cos i adore river song. but i do like the sharp delineation between light and shadow in the pic you chose.

2 is my least favorite. the coloring seems too artificial, the subjects are too small in the frame. but mostly it's the color. my eye is immediately drawn to the upper right corner where the brilliant blue is so strong. everything else fades away.

I'm going to choose #4 as my favorite but honestly, I like them all! I like the way it is cropped and the brightness in the middle.

If I have to choose my least favorite, I'd say #5. I think I would like it more if she had more color to her face. The sharpening looks great though!

My least favourite icon is #5.I don't really like crop and coloring.It looks weird because of the awkward crop and it's too blue.

My favourite icon is #3.It's pretty simple and really artistic at the same time.

My favorite is 1. I love the coloring and your use of negative space and lighting. My least favorite is 5. I like the color, but I feel like the crop is a little awkward. Great icons overall! :)
