i like 4 the best and 2 the least. i like that the skin tones are rich and natural. it's bright without being washed out. what i like about 4 is what i don't like about 2. the washed out yellow skin tone. her skin and hair blend right together. and i find the icon over-lightened, not enough depth.

I like 2 the best because of the soft color and lovely close crop. I'd say my least fave is 4 because the crop is rather bland and the coloring doesn't really pop. It's not horrible, by any means, but I think it needs a bit more contrast or vibrance.

My favorite is #03. The use of negative space and background texture (not sure if it is indeed a texture) give the icon a lot of sophistication and depth, I find. The coloring is nice and vibrant, yet natural. Nothing too imposing or radioactive and I really appreciate that. My only critique is that the subject's face is a little blurry and his features can't be seen clearly. Other than that, great icon!

My least favorites are #01 and #05. The former is just too sharp - the skin and hair of both subjects look pixelly and grainy. That really detracts from the quality of the icon. Also, the brown coloring doesn't look very appealing. Maybe it would have been better to use a brighter hue, with more shadows and highlights for depth. #05 looks washed out (it needs more saturation and vibrancy) and Bella's a little blurry.

I like 1 the least because I feel the woman is merging too much with the background. I like 3 the best for the composition although he could have been brightened and picked out a bit more

I would say my favorite is #3. I like the negative space. I'm not sure if you used a texture or if that is part of the screencap but I like what's in the background. Also, his face his nicely colored.

My least favorite is #1. I would say this because I feel like it is too dark. I would like more brightness to bring out her face. It could also use less sharpening.

favorite: 03. The crop is great, and the overall composition of this icon is just wonderful. The ring around his head and the light orb add visual interest, which naturally draws the eye to him. The only thing that could be changed would be lightening up his face.

least favorite: 04. The crop is a little strange. As it is, my eyes tend to want to stay focused on her face, but I think what is going on in her hands is something that should be integral to the icon more. Maybe if her forehead was cropped out, and more of her hands were in the icon it would be less strange. The coloring is lovely for a natural coloring, but somehow her hair got washed out on the bottom left part. Still a very nice icon!
