*bounces* Your comment made me hyperactive again! These icons gave me trouble. Both sets come from oddly lit programmes with rather dodgy quality.

You picked out all my personal favourites as well! 001 has become my new computer user icon, because he looks sooo cute!

He is pretty short though, for a bloke. I mean, he'd look like giant standing next to me, but yeah put him next to tall people like Jeremy Brett and he looks tiny!

he has another reminds-me-of-your-fics-face

Yay! That proves without a doubt that all my Lestrade-y inspiration comes from this show. lol.

The programme I use is just PowerDVD which came with my laptop. I just slow it down so I don't miss any expressions and try to remember when I'm watching it which shots will make good icons.

He is so, SO cute it 001 *stares at it for a little bit longer*

I have some DVD player thing on my laptop (I have a Mac) but it won't let me screencap from that... I have to use VLC, which is very nice, but tends to be sort of... liney. It has lines instead of blurs when somebody moves, and it's hard to get a clean cap. Yours are so pretty!

My new desktop computer doesn't have a DVD player and my laptop is getting pretty old now. I'm terrified that it's gonna pack up on me and I'm going to lose my only decent screencapper! I should quickly take caps of everything just in case.

// I have some DVD player thing on my laptop (I have a Mac) but it won't let me screencap from that... //

a possible reason #1
DVD player (programme on your laptop) cannot to catch screenshots ever (alas, some programmes don't work with this option)

a possible reason #2
you use the video files of another formats (for example, DVD Power 5 that I use cannot to catch avi- , flv- etc. format video)

honestly, I'm not an expert in computers

Thank you for the ideas, anyway! I'll have to look into those :)
