Just finished reading Pattern Recognition by William Gibson. Read some of it while re-watching The Matrix with Jesse. Before that we played video games and listened to random music for quite some time. I have a beatboxer versus remixer DJ battle track stuck in my head. Jesse and I placed 42nd on the Internet leaderboard for 2-Player Survival Mode Crimsonland. I had something like 3700 frags. King Crimson is still good music. Pattern Recognition was very good, but left me feeling a bit disjointed as Gibson always does. Moreso because this one is set in the present, although it maintains a distinct cyberpunk flavor. Flynn should probably read it, I think he'd get it in ways I can't begin to understand. Sunburn on my shoulders has stopped hurting and started itching. Veils was fun. I should probably update more often. I'm not currently functioning as an active force, just reporting on my day and digesting information. I do a lot of that. I'm currently drinking a mixture of horrible raspberry vitamin C energy drink mix and grapefruit juice, because I was curious as to what it would taste like. As usual, the grapefruit juice overpowers anything, leaving the concotion surprisingly drinkable. I should finish Godel, Escher, Bach. And then maybe re-read House of Leaves, or at least Google House of LEaves to find out what I missed, even though I've resisted that so far. I also need to do some writing. I'll probably be posting some things here, in addition to summaries of my days and the occasional links. Like original stories. Because I think it's time to practice the physical act of writing, as opposed to the mental gymnastics of creating and contemplating.

Also, time to set some goals. And figure out a way to make some money.

And whether or not I'm going to college. Huh. I guess it's time to wake up a little more, and stop living the Infovore Dream for awhile. I'll probably even need my limbs.

My toes are cold.
