The Primary Colors in "The Siege of the North": an A:TLA picspam

Okay, so when I saw that "Color Focus" was the challenge for this month at picspammy, I immediately wanted to do a picspam concerning the colors of Avatar but I had no idea on what to actually focus on. There are a lot of interesting color schemes going in various episodes and across seasons (taking after the elements that inspire each season) but, in terms of color, what sticks out the most in my memory is the finale of the first season, starting specifically after Zhao takes the Moon Spirit hostage. When I had first seen this scene, I had not really been a super-duper Avatar fan but I had casually enjoyed the first season. What really drew me into this episode were the bursts of red, blue, and yellow that really help the narrative along. While many later scenes/episodes of Avatar have perhaps trumped this one in terms of EPICNESS and HSQ, I still remain convinced that this showcases one of the most hauntingly beautiful animation in this day and age. Enjoy!
