Because I realise combining the inspiration part and the theme part was too much to ask, I've simplified it.
Colours
Your icon has to feature the colour given in the last post,
you have to provide a next colour for the next person to work with.
I'd like to highlight the following:
- if someone else has already posted a new icon in the time you were working on yours, you can still post your icon but don't give a new 'next word'
- you don't have to ask for concrit or provide it, you can just participate in the icon making
- have fun! :)
This is a continuous pass-it-on icon contest, your 'next word' has to follow the round theme.
Optionally you can ask for concrit, if you ask for concrit you need to provide concrit as well.
> create a new icon inspired by the 'next word'
> if someone else has already posted a new icon in the time you were working on yours, you can still post your icon but don't give a new 'next word'
> submit your entry, image and URL, to the community in a new post
> add your username tag (add the following tag 'maker: !add tag please' if you haven't got one yet) and the round tag
> add if you want concrit on the icon or not, add the '!concrit' tag
> post concrit on at least one other icon per each icon you asked concrit on
> links to some concrit guides: here - here - here - here
> you can post as many times you want as long as there is at least one icon by other people between your entries
> your icon should be: 40 Kb or less, 100x100 or less, .gif, .jpg or .png
> the use of png is encouraged - why?
> no animation
> voting will be posted once there are 20 entries or two weeks have passed since the last voting was posted, whichever one comes first
