I haven't ever used KMPlayer, but I did a quick search on Google and someone said that the video you're capping should be paused, not stopped, so that there is an image still on the screen.
I think your just in the wrong mode. Try right clicking anywhere & go to Video(Advanced), then clicking HighSpeed Mode, or Preset: Quality. Now try to capture the video your using.
Ah, this used happen to me too. I think you can only cap when the video is playing. I mean if you stop or pause it won't cap and appears this error message. At least it was what happened to me.
