Help with 2 effects.

Hey guys,

i seen these effects around and i love them but don't know how to do them.
I have pspX2.

Ok so the first one i found at outspoken kate

 The effect has a tutorial but its done in ps is there anyway i can do it in psp?

The first one is probably desaturate your base,screen it and then duplicate your base,drag it top the top and set it to overlay.and then add a soft red texture like this one http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v227/photoimpression/brown%20tut/l1-8.jpg,but with more red spaces,and set it to screen.

The 2nd one Im not sure though.

thanks for that i will try it, but the texture doesn't appear?
