This is my first tutorial that I have ever done for icons, so hopefully, everything will go well.

Turn this:
Into this:

Made in: Paint Shop Pro X2
Translatable: I hope so... :D I think so, yes!
Steps: 7 Steps!
Uses: Color Balance, Color Balance & Duplicating Bases

1. Take your picture (or use the picture of Ben Barnes). Sharpen/Crop what ever you want to do.

2. Create a new raster layer & fill it with the color #000738. Set it to Exclusion 100%

>>

3. Go to Layers > New Adjustment Layer > Color Balance
-M: 35; 13; -10
-S: 19; 4; 11
-H: -30; -12; -21

4. Duplicate your base and drag it to the top. Set that layer to Exclusion at 20%

5. Go to Layers > New Adjustment Layer > Color Balance
-M: 4; -18; -19
-S 0; 0; 0
-H: 31; 10; -12

6. Creat a new raster layer & fill it with the color #466265. Set it to Exclusion 40%

7. Duplicate your base & drag it to the top. Set that layer to Softlight at 55%

8. Duplicate you base once again & drag it to the top. Set that layer to Lighten at 100%

And you're all finished! Here are my other results.

If you have any questions, please let me know. And if you don't like the outcome of your icon, it is totally fine. This is my first tutorial! Ha ha.
