I... don't think this is translatable into PS7. I had a lot of trouble following the instructions nearly from the beginning, since as far as I know PS7 doesn't have the options of Smart Photo Fix or Fade Correction, or even Copymerge.

If you skip the first two steps and use color balance and hue/saturation to make the icon more vibrant then I think the rest would work just fine. To copy merge, make a new layer and then do shift+ctrl+alt+e! Hope that helps a little bit.
