No offense but that's not real masking. >>; It does achieve basically the same look but it's still not masking.

There are always different ways to get the same look, but I find this the easiest way to explain it and it's easy to use on every program that supports layers also ...
But I'm interested in your version, do you have a link to a tutorial maybe?

Yes, it is nice to know how to achieve a certain look in an easy way but Layer masking isn't that tough so it just...It's a pet peeve of mine when people label putting things on Lighten or Screen masking because masking is something I adore. ^^; Umm, it's not "my version" either, it's...the actual masking methods according to Adobe? Best way I can describe it. I don't have any tutorials since I took a class but it is in the User's Guide. I did a quick search of google though and this seems pretty good; figured I'd share since channel masking is a favorite of mine.
