Colourings,

Hello, i was wondering does anyone know any colourings that work really well with icons where the person is wearing black or white or even black with bright colors  such as this :
 
 and this :

I'm really looking for something REALLY different from the blue and red look. I know there's not much to do because the subject has black hair. But does anyone have any tuts on interesting colorings :/.

Edit: Preferably bright colorings and i use PS btw :D
