2 problems, help needed!

I just got photoshop CS3 and I have already a problem working with it. Always when I try to open an image it says:

"The document "xxxxxxx" has an embedded color profile that does not match the current RGB working space ( Read more... )

I usually do "Discard the embedded profile (don't color manage)" - it just opens the picture as usual. I am not sure if that is the correct way, but I don't notice any difference in the image.

Make sure your imagine is at 100% of its size.

it is, but it's still like - too sharpen when I try to resize it.
