Well, this is my first icon tutorial I've tried, it was really detailed and helpful, THANK YOU!!!!! I've never used the curve adjustment before, so thanks for introducing me.

Ooo thats really good I love it. Love Hilary and the cropping on that is perfect. Great job. I'm so happy people are trying my tut, it's only my second one :)

Allrighty, I fiddled with it some more, and this is what I got

wanted to add, I didn't include the inbetween screen layers (on this one, or the Hilary one up there) because it looked better without

this one, I also added a saturation layer, saturation set to 33 or somewheres around there (forget what exactly)
