I Just Need A Little Help, Friends

I don't know if this is allowed and it's prolly a dumb question but...

I'm having trouble installing things into PSP7. Gradients must be saved as .jgd and brushes as .jbr. But there are no options to save in those file types on my program. So what do I do?

And how do I "define" a brush or gradient?

Thanks so very very much in advance!

It's been awhile since I've used PSP7, but in 9, I know for installing brushes you go to File -> Import -> Custom Brush then browse for the file. Thought it was the same for 7, but maybe not. As for gradients, I just copy and paste, hah.

Apparently, it doesn't work the same as there is no option to save custom brush, at least not that way. Thanks anyway. *hugs*

Thanks. That's very helpful. I'll mem it.

But say I have the brushes and gradients in JPG or PNG formats, and I want to convert into JBR or JGP formats, but when I go to "save file as" the drop down box for "file type" does not offer those file types as options? This is the ultimate problem. How do I get them converted?

As a secondary question, where can one download brushes?

I hope someone can help with this, because I have some awesome brushes and gradients already that I would like to be able to use with the greater versatility that having them properly loaded affords.

The gradient and brush extensions aren't the same thing as picture formats, so you can't just convert them. You'll have to make custom gradients and brushes from your .JPGs and .PNGs.
