Tutorial: Defining Brushes -- awesome timesaver

Sick of defining brushes from imagepacks? When you've downloaded countless brushsets, its a pain to open each image, define it, close it, open the next one, define it, etc. hiddensarah showed me an easier way. It's so easy, I can't believe I wasted all that time before o_O

thank you for this i added it to my mems...i never installed my brushes just used image packs and pasted as a multiplied layer always worked wonders for me but i will try this thanks again.

Ha. I always did the exact same thing. Most of the text brushes (or any brushes) I only ever use in White or Black, so I only ever set it to Screen or Multiply (inverting the image if necessary). I was found it so much easier than installing the image packs and then having to search through all the brushes to find them.

Ahh, but if they're brushes, you can use them in white, black, or ANY color! And you have so much more CONTROL over them!

Oh I know! It's just that I've never wanted/needed them in another color other than B/W. Sure, there are some text brushes or frame borders that I do use frequently so I eventually make them into actual brushes, but the rest I do find it easier to do it this way. But I'm always the one to find the easy way out, heh.
