my first tutorial!!

this is the result:

this icon was made in photoshop 7

1.first find your pic.i'll use this one and crop it (thanks to izabella miko.net for the pic)

2.now sharp your pic

3.duplicate the layer and set it to soft light and opacity at 80%

4.duplicate the first layer and put it on the top.ctrl+u and set saturation at +25

5.now go to filter - noise - median and set it to 6

6.then go to filter - blur -gaussian blur and set it to 3

7.set the layer to multiply and opacity at 60%

8.make a new layer and fill it with AB1968 and set the layer at lighten and opacity at 50%

9.use this texture from trex-tures and set it to pin light at 50% opacity

you're done! you can add something if you want to..
