My first tutorial. I hope it helps someone.
I use The GIMP 2.2. Intermediate knowledge of the program should help. It's not the easiest tutorial, but not the hardest either.

This is a wonderful tut, very detailed, easy to follow. I made my own and used a different picture. The way my base was, I ended up with a sort of mirror image look. Thanks for sharing the tut!

I'm a bit lost with how you use brushes. I know how to save them, but I can't find them to use them after that.
