Exclusion modes

Other than the lovely teal colour (#013460), are there any other colours that make good exclusion blends in Photoshop or PSP?

I find that using two exclusion blends - a darkish grayish blue along with a dark green - works well in some occasions. But usually, I just stick with a blueish color. I'm a slave to it :)

Well, you know what the teal colour does... mucky yellow makes an interesting effect (#615001)... dark red (#610103) and dark pinkypurple (#61013E) will generally turn skin tones a greenish colour... darkish green (#016150) will make skin tones more pinky...

Light colours look horrible on Exclusion, so I just stick to dark shades and play with the opacity... the more grey (chroma) they include, the more they tend to obliterate the image... I find that a greyish red/brown (#614745) will make an image appear slightly rather sepiaish...

*goes off to play with the Exlusion blend mode herself*

Ooooo! If you use two layers filled different with pastel colours of your choice, and set the top one to difference and the bottom one to exclusion, it looks very pretty! :D

...I'm having fun with this :P
