Soft Bright Coloring?

Wow, I've been lurking around here for ages, but this is my first time posting a question. Hopefully it's ok--I couldn't seem to find what I was looking for in the memories.

I'm dying to know how to get this soft-looking bright coloring effect like in these icons made by the amazingly talented _witchygirl

hmmm I cant see this icons, but I looked on her site, hopefully they are the same ones if yes- i can try to help you when I get outta school! :) if not, try reposting them. :)

Yeah, I gave those two a try, but it didn't really come out the same >_< I wish she's make one for these ones, lol.

Maybe a layer of dark blue on Exclusion, light pink Soft Light, then light blue Colour Burn?

OH MY GOSH--it worked awesome!! Thanks so much!!! I did just what you said, but added few more things , if anyone's curious:

1. got my base
2. duplicale layer, set to screen (opacity depends on your image)
3. make new layer, fill with dk. blue and set to exclusion 100%
4. new layer, fill with light pink, set to soft light (opacity
depends on your image)
5. new layer, fill with light blue, set to color burn 100%
6. duplicate light blue color burn layer (you can play around with
the opacity), and erase the excess blue color on the person (if
there is one) in the photo.
7. merge/flatten, duplicate base, set to soft light (opacity depends
on image)
