A really stupid question.

Okay, call me an idjit later...

I cannot find where you can desaturate in PSP9 -_-; I have been using levels and the colour mixer to give that "sort" of effect however it is simply not working with everything i would like to accomplish.

Please help!

ADJUST>HUES & SATURTATION>HUES/SATURATION/LIGHTNESS
slide the left toggle down

I use the more time consuming way and select the Saturation Brush from the toolbar (Make sure it's the blue/grey one) and right click then drag the mouse over the image, it desaturates.

LOL that is my favorite tool xD I think shift+L was the first shortcut for PSP9 I learned...

I just go
Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize
Saturation 0 Hue 0

I don't know if PSP9 has it, but X has Effect-->Photo Effects-->Black and White Film.

Otherwise I just use Adjust-->Hue and Saturation-->Hue/Saturation/Lightness and drag the Saturation bar down.
