I haven't been able to figure out how to change the colors of brushes that I use in my graphics.
Usually they're black, how do I change the color?
I'm using Adobe Photoshop 7.
Help is greatly appreciated!

whatever your foreground color is, the brush should show up that color. it depends on the brush though.

The bottom of the toolbar on the left. The black square with the white one behind it.

How do I apply the color I'd like to the brush?

It will only change to your foreground color if you've defined the image as a brush or uploaded it into your brushes. If you're lasting it on as a new yaer from an image pack it won't change colors unless you use the fill tool/color overlay. I had that problem because I didn't know how to upload the images into my brushes. Took me ages to finally figure out what I was doing wrong. :)
