question concerning "colorburn"

Mar 30, 2006 16:09

I have Corel PSP X and whenever I read a tutorial that uses "colorburn" for some layers, I never figure out how to do it. "Colorburn" is not an option on my Layers palette, so I've tried "color" and then "burn", but the image never comes out the way it should. Any suggestions?

burn and color burn are the same thing "color burn" is the name for it in Photoshop, and "burn" is the name for it in Paint Shop Pro.

What I've always wondered is what's the equivalent for 'linear burn' in PSP?

I always substitute 'colour burn' for 'colour (legacy)'. It seems to have the same effect, at least for me. 'Burn' always seems to come out too dark. Hope I've been of some help :).
