Go from
this to
using PSP 9!
-this can probably be translated into other versions of PSP & PS, I think...-
1. Crop picture to 100x100
2. Go to Adjust >> Sharpness >> Unsharp Mask And set it to
this setting.
3. Then duplicate the background layout and desaturate it. (SHIFT + H) and set that layout to screen.
4. Duplicate the background image again and desaturate and set this time to soft light. This layout should be above the screened layer.
5. Then make a new raster layer above the others, add
#f6b4f8 and set to softlight 20%.
6. Add another raster layout above the others, add
#52d5fa to burn 50%.
7. Add another raster layer above the others, add
#0e141e and set to exclusion.
8. Add yet another raster layer above the others, Add
#f4e4d8 and set to multiply.
By now,
thisis the layer.
9. Then merge all of the layers together. Layers >> Merge >> Merge All (Flatten)
10. Then duplicate the background image and set to softlight. then merge the layers again.
11. Then go to Effects >> Effect Browser >> Add/Remove Noise >> Add Noise >> Add noise (photo grain low) and
this setting.
& you're done! Add text, brushes whatever!
Remember, depending on your image you can make the opacity different. And save as .PNG for best results.
