you know the buttom at the bottom that you press to go to imageready? press that again and it should bring you back to photoshop :)

No I mean. I go to photoshop do my business and then I click to have it go back to imageready and then when I save it in imageready it doesn't save as an animation anymore.

Did you save it as "Save optimized as...", and save it under a gif file?

yeah. It just saved the top layer and when it goes back to imageready it only goes there as one image. it doesn't show that it's animation...hmmm

Photoshop versions prior to CS2 do not preserve any animation information saved by ImageReady in the PSD, so I recommend doing all your work in Photoshop first and only use ImageReady for assembling the animation at the very end of the process.
