Capping DVDs using KMplayer

I've been using KMplayer to cap video files and that has been working just fine. It won't let me cap DVDs though. When I go to do it, I get this message:



I've googled ways to fix this problem, but I've had no such luck with any of the solutions given. I was hoping someone on here might be able to help me.
